Wilson Shrout graduated from Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana. He was a four-year member of the Penn Marching Kingsmen and served as Tuba Section Leader his junior and senior years. He is currently a junior studying Music Education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. This fall will be Wilson's third year in the Sousaphone section of the Marching Illini and he's excited to serve as marching section leader this season. He is an FAA James Scholar, President of the UIUC Music Education Student Association, Vice President of the Nu Xi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, and a brother of the Alpha Xi chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. Wilson has worked as Brass Staff with the Concord Marching Minutemen in Elkhart, IN and the Penn Marching Kingsmen in Mishawaka, IN.
