Salvador Macias

Salvador Macias attended Argo Community High School where he was a member of the Front Ensemble mallet section, spun in color guard and served as Drum Major for two seasons. He also marched baritone for a season with Eastern Illinois University’s Panther Marching Band. This fall he will be attending Saint Xavier University as an Instrumental Music Education major. Outside of school he teaches woodwind, beginning brass, string, piano, and voice lessons in addition to coaching 2 Rock Band’s at The House of Music in Orland Park. Salvador has attended Smith Walbridge Camps since 2017, in which he was awarded Outstanding Conductor in 2018. He has served 4 years on the intern staff and is looking forward to being a member of the administrative staff this year!
