Chris is a graduate of the Univeristy of Illinois with his Masters in Music Education. He spent 5 years as the Director of Bands at Mater Dei High School in Breese, Illinois where the bands grew with the marching band consistently received top awards in marching contests and the concert band being selected to perform at the annual Superstate Concert Festival. Chris then spent 5 years as the Director of Bands in Quincy, Illinois where the program had over a thousand students from beginners to graduates. During his time, Quincy High School consistently sent about 30 students to the ILMEA All-State Festival. The Jazz Band was was selected as one of two jazz bands to perform at the ILMEA Convention in 2005. For the past 13 years, Chris has been working in Mansfield, Texas where he has headed the beginning Band program as well as been a regular marching and jazz clinician in the high schools. Chris has been designing marching shows for bands across the country since 1997 working with bands of all sizes. Chris has been working with the Smith Walbridge Clinics since 1995. Chris and his wife, Christine, live with their two kids in Grand Prairie, Texas.
