Melody is former Associate Director of Bands at West Aurora HS in Illinois, Presently she is Program Director and Manager with Alive and Discover Alive creating and designing music for at-risk students, inner city kids and schools that don't have a music programs. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois Chicago working with the Chicago Jazz Academy in the summer. Mellody was former drum major with the University of Illinois and has been a band director in public schools for several years.
